An update from James Saunders – SFC
This season we have played up an age group so that we properly tested the boys. It started off amazingly, placed in division 2 we were winning games comfortably. This lead to us winning the winter league division 2. In February we started playing in division 1. This turned out to be a lot more tricky! The top couple of teams in the division were very good and we were on the end of a couple of comprehensive defeats, something the boys definitely aren’t used to. It was a good experience though, all character building! We’ll be playing back down at our own age group next season.
Tournament season in full swing now though and we also managed a win at the Stotfold tournament last weekend.
Recent presentation day – see photo. We’ve also had another tournament win aswell….this was at the Hemel Hempstead FC Summer tournament. We won the plate trophy in our age group!
