The team at First Step go above and beyond to... offer you a first class service. They take the stress out of moving house and they collectively work together from the moment you say you want to sell your house to when you complete. They chase the whole chain and keep you regularly updated on the progress. They have in-depth knowledge of the local area and also have an excellent ability to know which potential buyers could be a right fit for the property you are selling. The attention to detail is unprecedented and you feel like you are dealing with family rather than an estate agent. We only have great feedback for First Step and would highly recommend them over any other estate agent.read more

We purchased our first property through First... Step at the end of last year. From the initial contact of booking a viewing to the day where we picked up the keys, we have had such a professional and personal service.After a previous offer fell through with a different estate agent we saw our house with First Step. After we called up, a viewing was booked and carried out with Sandie who made sure we knew exactly where we were going and arrived precisely on time for the appointment. Sandie was very polite and friendly during the viewing and whilst she showed us all the great features of the house, she was not pushy, allowed us to take our time in looking round and had a great knowledge of what the house had to offer (ie gas central heating, year of construction, cavity wall insulation etc). Sandie helped us to make an offer which was subsequently accepted.The area this estate agents exceeded all expectations is with the sales progression. Jemma was dealing with our transaction and we really felt that she had a personal touch in helping us get to completion. We had many hurdles with the mortgage application and whenever we found out any issues, Jemma almost always already knew as she kept excellent communication with the vendors, solicitors, mortgage broker and mortgage provider. We genuinely feel that had we seen this property with another estate agent that we wouldn't be living in it today. The entire team are 100% committed to their clients and provide a service which is second to none and we are truly thankful to them all. Jules at First Step, in my opinion, has to be one... of the top Estate Agents. We have finally exchanged on our property, and although First Step wasn’t the agents acting on our behalf, Jules worked tirelessly for us to ensure that we purchased the house of our dreams through them, always on the end of the phone to answer any concerns, nothing was too much trouble and always went the extra mile.....an absolute credit to the industry.
